How soon will the GRAVITUS EM 560 arrive?

Within 7-15 working days. Verification does not add time: we do it before shipping. The calibration report is done before shipping up to 300 kg; above that, on site after installation, with travel quoted separately.

Is periodic verification required?

Yes: scales used in trade must be periodically re-verified by an authorised laboratory (usually every 3 years). We can arrange it: send us the model and serial number.

Can you calibrate a scale I already own?

Yes, other brands too: in our laboratory or on your site. Send us model, capacity and readability and we will quote.

Can I get a quote for several units?

Yes: add the products to the quote and send it. The PDF offer arrives by email straight away and during office hours a technician checks it within 60 minutes.

Do you provide service and spare parts after the warranty?

Yes: repairs, original spare parts and consumables, periodic verification and calibration for the scale's whole life.

CE-M verification

When is a verified scale mandatory?

Whenever the weight determines a price or a payment to third parties: selling by weight to the public, trading precious metals, compounding pharmacy, shipping charged by weight. For internal checks the internal-use version is enough.

How much does verification cost?

It has a fixed price of €90 + VAT for any class: choose «Verification: Yes» and we carry it out before shipping.

What do I receive with a verified scale?

The scale with seals and CE-M marking, the metrological logbook and the declaration of conformity, ready for trade use.

Calibration and certificates

What is the difference between a calibration report and an ACCREDIA certificate?

The GRAVITUS calibration report documents the tests carried out with certified weights and suits ISO 9001, HACCP and internal checks. The ACCREDIA certificate is issued by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory and is needed when an audit or customer explicitly requires it.

How much is the calibration report?

For the models of this scale it costs €120 + VAT: it depends on capacity and readability, because high-resolution scales are tested with F1 or E2 weights. The right price appears by itself when you pick the model.

How often should a scale be recalibrated?

It depends on use and your quality system: usually once a year, more often if the scale works in harsh conditions or is moved. We help you set the right interval.

Purchase and payment

Do prices include VAT?

No: they exclude VAT because we mainly sell to businesses. The price with 22% VAT is shown in brackets and calculated at checkout.

How can I pay?

By credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and bank transfer in advance. All available methods are shown at checkout.

Do I receive an electronic invoice?

Yes: enter your VAT number and SDI code or PEC at checkout and you will receive it electronically.

Delivery and service

How much is shipping?

Free in Italy on orders from €299 + VAT; below that, the cost is shown at checkout before payment. Sicily and Sardinia have a €15 + VAT surcharge; for minor islands, Livigno, Campione and the Venice lagoon we confirm it before shipping. Palletised products and heavy test weights ship separately and are not covered by free shipping.

When will it arrive?

Within 7-15 working days: the estimated date is shown next to the buy button. CE-M verification and calibration report are already included in that time.

What warranty does it have?

24 months for everyone, consumers and businesses, handled directly by us in Italy: if it breaks down we collect the scale and repair it in our workshop. On the product page you can extend it to 36, 48 or 60 months.
